Teaching Fil-Am Teens Philippine Folk Dances in the US

The following video reminded me when our children were still in their elementary school days ( mid 1970's). My wife taught them a few Filipino folk dances including the world famous TINIKLING ( bamboo dance), The Pandanggo Sa Ilaw ( Dance of Lights) and other popular Folk dances of the Philippines. Unfortunately, not one of our six grand children had learned or are interested of this wonderful tradition from the Philippines.

Do not forget to view also the related videos in this set. Enjoy and Cheers!
