Autumn Leaves in the Foothills of Northern California

The trees in my backyard and side yard are now yellow, reddish brown and gold. They are starting to drop and every day, I have to scoop it from my swimming pool. I am not really complaining since this is an annual ritual here in my abode in the suburbs of Sacramento. The other day two neighborhood teenagers drop by and asked if they could rake the leaves for pay. I said yes and we both are happy with this transaction. I pay and they work. It was the last night of my week long sojourn to Marinduque. Eight in the evening, I went out of my hotel room to stroll once more the lovely streets of Boac. The evening was peaceful and cool with a lovely soft breeze of wind in the air. This reminded me that I was in one of the most rural places in the Philippines.etc...etc..
