Some of My Favorite Kundiman Songs

Let us start the month of Jume with some of my favorite Kundiam and Harana songs of the Philippines.

These collection of Philippine Love songs,and songs for Serenade( Harana) both old and new are some of my favorites. Singers are Conching Rosal, Pilita Corales, Sylvia La Torre, Ruben Tagalog, Victor Wood, Diomades Maturan and the Mabugay Singers. I hope you will enjoy these songs as much as I do.

One of the songs worthy of mention is Ruben Tagalog. Ang Dalagang Filipino with the paintings of Fernando Amorsolo as the backgroud. Beautiful paintings of Filipino women, indeed!

It was the last night of my week long sojourn to Marinduque. Eight in the evening, I went out of my hotel room to stroll once more the lovely streets of Boac. The evening was peaceful and cool with a lovely soft breeze of wind in the air. This reminded me that I was in one of the most rural places in the Philippines.etc...etc..
