Welcome to Marinduque-My Island Paradise

If this is your first time in my site, welcome! If you have been a follower, my heartfelt thanks to you, also. Help me achieve my dream, that someday, Marinduque will become a world tourist destination not only on Easter Week, but also whole year round. You can do this by telling your friends and relatives about this site. The photo above is Mt Malindig in Torrijos. Some of the photos and videos on this site, I do not own. However, I have no intention on the infringement of your copyrights. Cheers!

Playing with AI Tools for Photo Transfer and Enhancement

If you have been following my blogs, you probably know that I have been enjoying and experimenting what AI tools can do AS far as Image Creation, Enhancement and Transfer. Here's my latest experiment on this topic.

First Photo: Two Young Filipino Models featuring the Barong and the Filipina Terno ( Butterfly Sleeves)

Second Photo: Macrine and I on our way to my Ph. Graduation Ceremony, Chicago, 1964

Here's my First AI Query: The first photo is a young man wearing a Barong. The second photo is me with a suit. Can you transfer my head shot to the first photo of the young man in the Barong?

Here is the result of the Query: My Photo ( headshot ) in the Young Man' Barong

My Second Query: The first photo is a young woman is a Filipina Terno. The second photo is a woman is a suit. Can you transfer the woman head shot to the first photo of the woman in the Terno

Was Macrine's head shot transferred here? I will give it another try and Confirm

Original Photo: Me and Macrine

Model Photo: ( 2nd photo)

Headshot Transfer from Photo1 to Photo 2

Meanwhile, Did you know that.....
THE PHILIPPINES: 7,641 ISLANDS, 21 YEARS TO SEE THEM ALL
šŸŒšŸ‡µšŸ‡
Stretching across the western Pacific, the Philippines is an archipelago of staggering scale — about 7,641 islands in total. From vibrant hubs like Luzon and Cebu to remote sandbars fringed by coral reefs and mangroves, it’s one of the most geographically diverse and fragmented nations in the world.
To put that into perspective: visiting one island per day without pause would take nearly 21 years — and that’s under perfect weather, constant travel, and no repeats. Many islands are uninhabited, hard to reach, and scattered across vast seas.
This massive island count is the result of millions of years of tectonic shifts, sea level changes, and thriving biodiversity. It also creates unique challenges in governance, transport, and disaster response — while weaving together a rich tapestry of cultures, languages, and ecosystems found nowhere else on Earth.
